Check it out and do not hesitate to buy her album today, we promise you will NOT be disappointed. #FemaleFlowApproved
From the bottom of the globe hours from me is a smooth songstress named Airling. This Australian looks like your girl-next-door until she her voicebox begins to release hypnotizing and soothing sounds. She came out with a project last year but right now we are talking about “Stallin”, a song about letting go of her boyfriend.
“I’ve been listening to quite a bit of RnB goddesses like Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, even Beyonce… I just really wanted to get away from the electronic pop side of things and do something really truly sexy and a bit ’90s RnB,” she told triple j.

I just heard this Australian singer/songwriter via our StackorStarve Instagram while doing some social promotions. At Female Flow we give everyone a chance (a listen) which is one of the codes we work by. You just never know who you will find while exploring online. From the looks of her online presence she is just getting started with her music but her single, “Love & Psycho” which is available for download on iTunes is a pop track about mixing her relationship. Love can make you a little crazy, right? Mel Smith has been writing since she was as young as 11 years old as well as tackling some covers and we look forward to hearing her original material. Check her out and let us know what you think? @FemaleFlowMusic & follow her on Facebook!
You may not know her face, yet, but we promise you know her voice. We have played “Pick Your Poison” several times here in our offices on full blast. She recently went on an office tour with Spin, Vibe and more to share what she is working on now and to let people know just a little bit more about her. Did you know she was the songwriter behind Alicia Keys “Love is my Disease”? We didn’t either but make sure you check her out and follow her IG @akaPollyA
Bronx born Levina Lye states, “Writing for me is my way of expressing all of the things that are sometimes difficult to say, it’s my way of venting but creatively, it’s how I keep my sanity.” Her latest single “Fade Away” is a prime example as the song carries you into a space that most humans can relate to. We all want to escape in one way or another from common stresses to tragedies there is always a reason to get away from it all. Music is such a healing and therapeutic thing. She stands out by being herself, “I don’t aspire to be like anyone else. I represent everyone who is unafraid to be human and make mistakes. It takes courage to remain true to yourself, especially dealing with the judgment of others. Through my words, I tell my fans that they are not alone in this struggle.” She has landed placement on sites such as MTVu, CNN iReport, Industry Cosign, DJVlad.com and Urban Magazine.
