From the ever changing planet of Brooklyn is 22 year old Chelsea Reject and her new mixtape titled, CMPLX is getting HOT ratings so far. Project features production by Rami B, Dougy, Kxngs and more delivering nothing but straight lyrics. She told HNHH, ” CMPLX is all about self-discovery and experimentation. Music and life are interchangeable to me so I had to experience life in order to really start discovering myself musically. This project will give you insight into “the reject” and into my existence as a whole. CMPLX is for the dreamers and those searching for forever like me.” We caught her show in BK not to long ago and hope to catch up with an interview soon. What will happen when this super talented little lady becomes an adult? What a power house in the making. Of course if helps to be born into the hiphop lineage but it’s not mandatory. She is bi-lingual, dually talented if you count emcee & dj but don’t forget dancing and modeling. We are proud to post again about Miss DJ Glo who is definitely reppin for the ladies across the world. Keep up the good work and we look forward to having you in the States real soon!!

New Video from @tialaflare aka Tia Nomore “Suck It Easy”

tia nomore

Straight out of Oakland is lil miss sassy Tia Nomore who states on her bandcamp, “i just record when i can and write all the time.”  FF first discovered her on Soundcloud (which we are truly upset was just bought by Warner Music) with her song  “Or Nah” featuring Kehlani which has over 340K plays. We love the fact that she isn’t trying to impress, just raw emotions for us when she feels like it. It takes the pressure off and allows the artists to just create when motivated, right? In the beginning she dropped 13th Grade which included 11 tracks some experimental, some in the pure essence of hiphop. Needless to say, she is def someone to check lyric wise as well as the producers she is working with is equally dope. But you let us know your thought… Tweet us @FemaleFlowMusic

#NewVideo from @sarocthemc with David Banner titled “The Who?” and bonus video!!

saroc

saroc2

saroc3

Sa-Roc The MC hails from the southeastern area of Washington DC, a city that’s a mashup of poverty stricken hoods, a strong radical movement, and a fierce loyalty to cultural preservation. This is the cocoon from which Saroc was birthed and bred. Sa-Roc has recorded songs with Jay Electronica, Nappy Roots, Afrika Bambataa and Stic.Man of dead prez.

A product of Afrikan-centered parents, Saroc developed a rebel mentality from an early age. She grew up on the music of Jimi Hendrix, Gil Scott Heron, and Earth,Wind & Fire. Her musical soundtrack was a klash of sounds, from gogo, to rock, to hip hop. This foundation began an aural quest for different sounds and concepts in music. It wasn’t until 2002, when Sa-Roc met Atlanta producer Sol Messiah, that she began her love affair with the mic. as well as developed a sound that was 1 part hood poetry, 2 parts otherworldly, and totally new and fresh. From subject matter ranging from melanin to pyramids, Saroc spits metaphysical ideas over melodic hip hop beats, seeking to fuse knowledge of self with great music. She seeks to create not just a couple of albums, but a full-fledged musical movement. A cultural griot, Saroc intends to reinstate the art of emceeing to its former glory, passing down the legacy 1 sixteen at a time.

And don’t miss the fresh remix…  “DC X ATLIENS” Produced by Organized Noize

New Video: @Laughta1 “Find It Funny” featuring Clencha

laughta

Out of Northwest London is an unsigned emcee  and actress named Laughta.

A member of the High Bar Nationals collective since 2011; Laughta met and began collaborating with fellow artist and producer Str8face, who helped her create her debut EP ‘Unstoppable’, released in July of 2012. During that time, the diversity of her stage appearances ranged from plays and musicals, to wins at SB:TV’s Peacemix and Unsigned Hype (with High Bar Nation), to interviews alongside the likes of Tinchy Stryder on ITN and London360. Each had a definitive impact on Laughta’s artistic expression, though none moreso than in March of 2013, when the chance to open for US Rap Star Joe Budden at East London’s Club XOYO, inspired a new level of intensity and passion for her craft.

The progression of her musical tastes and expressive skills enabled Laughta to discover new talents within herself that far exceeded the Grime genre she started out in. That new mindset came at exactly the right time. Now back with her second EP, ‘Most Wanted’; Laughta is ready for an entirely new phase in her musical career.

Currently preparing to compete in July’s Rapstar competition where Akala – one of Laughta’s lyrical inspirations – will headline the final; this highly respected Rapper is the only female in her category to reach this stage. The following week, this hugely talented female will headline her own EP launch for the very first time. With special guest support from fellow up and coming artist Lady Lykez amongst many others, there can be no question as to why Laughta is earning rave reviews from fellow artists and Industry heavyweights alike.
