#NewMusic – @LevinaLye “Fade Away”

Bronx born Levina Lye states, “Writing for me is my way of expressing all of the things that are sometimes difficult to say, it’s my way of venting but creatively, it’s how I keep my sanity.” Her latest single “Fade Away” is a prime example as the song carries you into a space that most humans can relate to. We all want to escape in one way or another from common stresses to tragedies there is always a reason to get away from it all. Music is such a healing and therapeutic thing. She stands out by being herself, “I don’t aspire to be like anyone else. I represent everyone who is unafraid to be human and make mistakes. It takes courage to remain true to yourself, especially dealing with the judgment of others. Through my words, I tell my fans that they are not alone in this struggle.” She has landed placement on sites such as MTVu, CNN iReport, Industry Cosign, DJVlad.com and Urban Magazine.

GO LEVINA LYE!
