Alli Simpson has been counting numbers as she has reached over 15M views on her youtube and currently has 1.2M Twitter followers. It’s crazy that we are just now hearing this 15 year old Australian, now living in LA, who tries to get her love interests attention in the video of “Notice Me”. This singer, actress and model enjoys swimming, styling (she regularly blogs about fashion), dancing and going to the beach while saying in her bio,

“Life is too short to not do what you love, so make sure you live life to its full potential. My brother, Cody, simply says, “No Worries,” and I really admire his outlook on life. Life is a beautiful thing, so go and live it up! Step out into this world with confidence and treasure yourself.”

What they call experimental R&B you will find a gem of a singer out of LA named Kelala who recently was featured on billboard.com. Her music career kicked off when Solange booked her as an opening act on her latest tour. Currently under the Fade to Mind label she was recently asked by billboard.com,

What did you think when Solange asked you to be on Saint Heron?
“I thought it was great, wonderful, amazing. I really do like Solange, sincerely. I’m down for her and I trust her judgment. It’s awesome to be included and I know and appreciate the contributions of the other artists. It’s nice to be presented to the world in that context, especially because it does spill over into the non-indie contexts of R&B and urban music, which matters to me.”

The lastest video directed by Jude MC featuring Kelala along with labelmate Kingdom on “Bankhead” which has a very intergalactic and earthy feel. We look forward to catching up with her at a show to experience just what everyone is talking about but in the meantime check out Kelela’s “Cut 4 Me” mixtape on Soundcloud.

Born in Boca but currently in Cali we know LA always pushes something unique and fresh out but who knew when we got Ariana Grande that it would be so sweet. Some say she reminds them of a baby Mariah Carey but no matter who you compare her too you just can’t deny her voice. She has an accapella that proves she can sing with NO effects or studio tweeking.

She recently released “Yours Truly” which we have fell in love with as well… At the end of the day there isn’t a song from her that you shouldn’t press play on. Currently on Republic Records she is sure to blaze up your local radio stations… but only if you request, demand and support good music!
