Dj Khaled’s We The Best Music released new music from the labels first lady Steph Lecor titled “Saturday” and it is something that just might turn the clubs upside down this summer.
It is bold, independent and something for the ladies. The 808’s kick nicely. Her voice isn’t annoying which many people complain about when it comes to females emcees. But one thing that stood out to us was something she posted up on her social media lately.
She stated, “The moment you realize chasing your dreams chased away all the friends you thought u had… .”
Now anyone who has pursued something wholeheartedly knows that some friends just can’t hold on for the ride. Not everyone understands the sacrifices that have to be made or the fact that you have commitments outside of them. But what we do know is how fast they come back once you do reach that level of success. Our advice to Ms. Lecor is to keep her circle small, nose to the grindstone and we are almost positive this young, bright star will come out on TOP! We look forward to what she has in store. We welcome the First Lady of We The Best to #FemaleFlow!
Let’s help her get her followers up >> follow this sassy artist on TWITTER!

A heartbeat’s the perfect harmony
And pardon me but you became a part of me
Replace blood for your love in my arteries
Kind of drug they don’t sell up in the pharmacy
I told him I’m in pieces, he told me he took pottery
Scratchin’ exes off to win the lottery
You not on the TV but you a star to me
Cause you be scripted like a movie and it’s starring me
But still I rap for him til I gas out
Even though we been around like he got passed out
He like the thots on the block with they ass out
But like him find me with a nigga, he gon’ lash out
Got a soft [?] but grew up in the hood
Scared of commitment, rollin’ on the wood
Might just be bad but he make it feel good
Addicted I wouldn’t leave him if I could

Low Leaf. Love the name. Love the spirit. Love the music and I think you will too! She is Filipino-American with satin vocals that put you on a cloud. Some have called her weird but what is weird when it comes to art, right? I think a better word would maybe be enchanting. I had seen her video “June Gloom” directed by Henry Kaplan that was amazing visuals but what stood out was how original and naturally different she is. Below is her latest release and she has made it a #FreeDownload for you to enjoy. Be on the look out for more as she is set to drop something April 29th via Fresh Selects. In the meantime also check her BANDCAMP for more!
Kaye Fox will drop her debut EP, Hear I Am in April 2014. The project is said to be raw emotion over raw production, fusing her unique blend of R&B/Soul and Hip Hop. Not only is Hear I Am written almost entirely by Kaye, but she also co-produced all of the songs on the EP along with her team, Emmaculate & Shebazz Curtis. This single, “Used To Love You” features rising Chicago Hip Hop artist YP of Universal Republic… and stay tuned, video dropping soon!
With a European wave of success this Bronx native caught the ear of Pharrell Williams at a young age & recently signed with Krucial Records and currently working with Star Trak says about herself, “Grimey because I’m from the Bronx. Melodic because I’m a singer, not a rapper. And Pop, so it can be diverse. It could be from anywhere.” She also cited her influences were Beyonce, Lauryn Hill and M.I.A. which leaves you will a sultry, spunky songstress who knows just how to embrace the music production of each record. We are excited to share with you….. Ms. Maxine Ashley!
Raye 6, the sexy siren known for her electric, in your face persona, reveals a softer side in her latest release “Lifted Sand”. On a recent UK tour with ILuvLive, Raye 6 had the chance to record with founder of Baby People UK and renowned producer Baby J (Amy Whinehouse, Dead Prez, Estelle, Mexican Kids At Home). Written and composed in the beautiful countryside of Derby, “Lifted Sand”, the infectious esoteric musical piece poses a few questions “who do you love/who do you trust/is there a fire/burning me up?” The poetic chorus “lifted on a faded grain of sand” is a description of love so faded the only thing left holding it up is a grain of sand. Filmed by Ne$$ of Weekend Money, the scenic visual for Lifted Sand was shot on location at Castle Ashby De La Zouch in Leicestershire, United Kingdom
“During a private listening session of the soon-to-be titled project between Baby J & Raye 6 ( due out later this year), we chose a few favorites, “Women Beat The Men” , “Enuff of You” and “I Like” as single material.” WBS Studios
The beginning sentence of her bio is, “SZA envelopes your soul at first listen.” and we couldn’t agree more. From one of our favorite go-to guys/gals for fresh and new talent, NOISEY …was this beautiful creature who will touched our souls. They recently shared their thoughts about her stating, “A pitch-perfect blend of glowering, boomy beats, fluttering synths, and SZA’s luxuriant tones, the St. Louis-born singer messes with R&B and serves it up fresh.”
You can’t help but get absorbed into her world. This Maplewood native is natural and he project titled ‘S’ is a must download to anyone who appreciates relaxing and melodic music.
